What happens when disk space limits are reached?
When you decide to establish an onion service with OnionLand Hosting, you will receive a disk space allocation of 1GB that is dedicated solely for the use of your onion service from tor hosting. This space is provided as part of the service provided by our tor hosting. If your content exceeds the initially allotted 1GB disk space, this does not necessarily mean that you will be barred from adding fresh content to your site. In fact, our system is designed in such a way that your disk space plan will be automatically upgraded when you exceed your initial allocation.
In the event that you require more space, we offer an expanded disk space option of up to 10GB. This additional disk space comes at a supplementary fee of US$ 2.99. This automatic disk upgrade is a feature that we provide in order to ensure the continuous, seamless operation of your onion service. Despite this automatic upgrade, we understand that not all users may wish to incur additional costs. To avoid these extra charges, we would recommend that you consider removing outdated and unnecessary content on your onion service. This will free up some space that can be used for new, more relevant content. As long as your disk usage remains below the threshold of 1GB, rest assured that you will not incur any extra costs associated with your disk usage. We are committed to providing a flexible and cost-effective service, and our automatic disk space upgrade is designed with your convenience in mind.
To check the disk space usage of your onion service, navigate to your onion service, and click the "Details" or "File Access" tab
